Our Ministries

We like to keep things simple. That means we run fewer programs so we have more space for relationship.

But structure can also be helpful! That’s why we run a few carefully chosen ministries that focus on spiritual growth and creating opportunities to connect.

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His son, purifies us from all sin.

1 John 1:7

Growth Groups

Bible study groups are a key way we can grow in our relationship with Christ and with each other, so we encourage every member of CBC to be part of a Growth Group. These groups involve studying the bible together and discussing our experience of living as followers of Jesus Christ. Growth Groups are also great for asking questions, developing relationships, praying together and supporting each other.

Our Growth Groups follow the same passage as the previous Sunday’s sermon.

If you’re a member of our church and would like to consider joining a Growth Group, please chat to Dan Kenny at our Sunday service.

Flourish Women

At Flourish we really enjoy connecting with each other regularly, digging in to God’s word, and looking at issues facing women today from a Scriptural perspective.

Our events build community with each other, and give an opportunity to meet new women as we connect and grow in a greater understanding and relationship with Jesus Christ.

We also love to pray together - which is why many of the women at Coast Bible Church meet in pairs each fortnight for prayer.

Keep an eye on our Upcoming Events page to join in!

Equip Class

Equip is for everyone of any age who wants to dig deeper into the Bible. Through interactive classes and workshops, we learn about major Christian doctrines: what do we believe? Why do we believe it? How did Christian thinking get to this point?

As we learn theology bit-by-bit together, our goal is to have God shape our thoughts, hearts and lives.

“Getting doctrine right is the key to getting everything else right. If we are to know who God is, who we are, and what God wants of us, we need to study Scripture… This holds true for every single area of Christian life, worship, witnessing, discipleship, Christian relationships, daily work; at every point right living begins with right thinking…In this profound sense doctrine is the key to life.” (Bruce Milne)

Next classes - 8:30am Sunday 17th and 24th March
topic - The character of God
